At the moment I’m organising Edith’s christening which we are hosting in July, and already i have a good plan of what I want to do and how I want the decor to look. I’ve started ordering a few bits and bobs, nothing costly, but simple things that will be really effective when it all comes together. Simple things like this personalised ribbon from The Radiant Ribbon Co.
The ribbon is just so pretty and it makes a nice little keepsake to add to her baby book for her to see when she is a young woman. I wanted to share this with you because if you are planning any kind of event – a birthday, a christening, a wedding etc personalised ribbon doesn’t cost hardly anything but it can be really effective.
My plan for this ribbon is to tie it around the top of kilner jars that will be filled with sweets on a little sweetie table for the children and adults to indulge in after the buffet. I’m not going to bother doing desserts as there will be so much food, drink and cake – it seems pointless. This ribbon will just tie everything together and make it look extra pretty for Edie’s special day.
