Meal Plan 29/06

Oh guys what an absolute foodie nightmare last week was, it was one of those weeks where we just couldn’t seem to get home in time to cook recipes and neither of the grown ups have been feeling very well so not really eating. It’s been a tough one.

With that in mind, I can’t really re-cap the week. We lived on pasta, quesadillas and tea, so I’m just going to move straight on to THIS week. If you want to try anything from last week, you can check it out here.

Monday :: 15min Chicken Stir Fry

I love a good stir fry and I’ve been holding back doing them because I feel like it will just cause agro – but sod it, I’m going to do it more now. Adam isn’t adverse to a stir fry and Edith will just have to get over it! This recipe is from Oh Sweet Basil and won me over with it’s 15min promise.

Tuesday :: Ground Kung Pao chicken

This recipe from Dinner then Dessert is going to be ideal for all that minced turkey I didn’t use last week! Yummers!

Wednesday :: Beef ragu

I know, I know, it’s basically going to be spag bol and I’ve served that up a few times recently but fuck it, everyone likes it and I don’t have it in me at the moment to be creative all week! Garlic and Zest have nailed it with this recipe.

Thursday :: Lemon Basil Orzo with Chicken

It’s been ages since I’ve had orzo and I can’t even remember if the kids have ever had it, so this will be a winner for everyone I think. Nice and fresh, super quick to cook, the recipe is from Chew Out Loud.

Friday :: Takeaway!

Saturday :: Chicken burgers

This recipe from Kitchen Sanctuary is going to be a perfect saturday night meal for us all. I’m going to make some 30 min bread buns and then add these delish crispy chicken burgers. YUM.

Sunday :: Breakfast for dinner

I’m hoping that this will go down well again, a good ole fry up for dinner. Simple and always yum!
