Mr Gladstone’s Curious Emporium has developed fusion wines that have perfectly captured the essence of your favourite tuck shop sweets. From Pear Drops to Rhubarb and Custard, Pineapple Cube to Strawberry Bon Bon, cocktail evening just got that bit sweeter.
And just in time for the summer holidays, I’m running a giveaway for those four different wines: pineapple cube, strawberry Bon Bon, rhubarb & custard and pear drop. Before I do though, I thought I might entice you in with a few suggestions of what you can do with these luscious wine fusions.
Of course, if you do win, you can just drink them on their own, but if you fancy something a bit fancier, here you go.
The Strawberry bomb
- 3 measures Mr Gladstone’s Strawberry Bon Bon
- 1 measure vodka
- Top up with lemonade
Decorate with a Strawberry
In The Orchard
- 2 measures Mr Gladstone’s Pear Drop
- 1 measure gin
- Top up with apple juice
Serve with fresh mint if you like and over ice.
Tropical cuboid
- 3 measures Mr Gladstone’s Pineapple Cube
- 1 measures white rum
- Top up with tropical juice
Serve over ice
Rhubarb & Custard
- Mr Gladstone’s Rhubarb & Custard
- Advoccat
Equal measures, serve as is.
