This is such a unique stocking filler, especially for preschoolers who are just learning their letters – it beats the usual A is for Apple does it not!?
I think that all children have a fascination with animals, ‘dangerous’ ones in particular, and food. We all have obsessions with food!
This little flash card book is the perfect unique stocking filler for any baby, toddler or young preschooler who is starting to learn letters. Reuben is quite obsessed with his letters at the moment (not to mention his numbers!) and I know he would find this absolutely hilarious – people really eat Jelly fish??!
I can just see how much fun you could have with a child with this one – J is for Jelly fish… actioning out a jelly fish will mean hours of fun!
F is for Fish. Make sure you are using phonics all the way too if you are teaching little ones – using letter names as opposed to sounds can be detrimental to their learning!
Reuben in particular would get such a kick out of this one… people eat ANTS???
I also think that the illustrations in this are worth buying it for, they are simply lovely – of course they would be, the book is written by the uber talented duo of Rebecca Sinker and Victoria de Rijke, two artists who collaborate on various products to bring us this kind of awesomeness.
