Stress Awareness Month with My Girls and Me

It’s Stress Awareness month! If you haven’t seen my post here about Stress Awareness month and the stress awareness takeover, then go and check it out so that you can see what is going on!

1.)     Do you suffer with stress frequently or occasionally?

I suffer quite frequently.

2.)     What sort of things cause you stress? 

Family & Parenthood makes me suffer most. With my eldest and my partner who suffer with series health conditions.. Its always on my mind.

3.)     Does anything in particular make stress worse for you? 

Lack of friends, I wouldn’t say family because they understand a lot. Friends who don’t understand because sometimes there are things you just don’t want to talk to your family about.

4.)     Does stress have an impact on your physical health?

Yes, I get very tired and my hair falls out.

5.)     What do you do to alleviate stress?

I read! With a candle and silence.

6.)     Do you think more needs to be done to raise awareness of what causes stress and the impact it has on us and those around us? If yes, what would you do or like to see done?

Yes! I think more does need to be done. Maybe more awareness just around the impact stress can have.

7.)     Do you have any tips for anyone dealing with stress?

Take 5 minutes out every day, 5 minutes to count your breathing or 5 minutes to just sit in silence. It will help so much.
