I love the packaging for these little treats too. They are such a great and simple way to include gardening for kids as one of your summer activities!

Just add water roll the mixture up and throw it at the spaces you think could do with brightening up!

The poppy kit is one of my favourites. I love poppies, they are so beautiful and bright.

There is nothing that kids love more than a good bit of destruction right? I mean come on, how half of our children don’t grow up with automatic degrees in demolition I will never know, they should just be handed out as soon as adulthood is reached. That and an award for surviving through getting so unbelievably messy it takes days to get all of the dirt out!

Anyway, I digress.

We have established that kids like to be destructive, another thing we can safely say is that all children love the garden, it’s like a mystical portal to freedom (without being too far away to warrant having to clean up after one’s self or cook).

Well, why not combine gardening for kids with a touch of destruction?

Enter seed bombs.

These are such a nifty little invention and I can only imagine that kids everywhere will have a blast with these! You can get a variety of different flowers and seeds for your bombing fun and all that you need to do is add water to the packet mixture, roll into a ball and choose your target pot. Once you have said target pot in your sights you hurl the flower ‘bomb’ into the pot and move on to enjoy your destruction elsewhere. When it rains the seeds will cleverly disperse and germinate! How cool is that?
