Brilliant sleepover accessories that are a must have for kids everywhere

After writing about Reuben’s night terrors and our new night light last week, I’ve been thinking a lot about our sleeping arrangements and moving forwards. Roo is 5, nearly 6, and since starting school he has a whole host of little friends, in fact, he has more friends than I do! He’s already been invited to his first sleepover (he didn’t go as he was a bit too little), and I have no doubt that soon the time will come where he will be having little friends over to stay too. I can’t wait for those sleepless nights and repeated pleas to shut up and sleeeeeeeeep!

I recently received these gorgeous snuggle sacs from Ollie & Leila bsolutely genius roll up sleeping bag that can be easily stored but is super soft and comfortable, in delightful patterns that look cool whilst being practical. I think for someone whose children already share a room and who has limited space to welcome lots of little ones, I really think these are fab! Not only that but if the boys are going away somewhere – even if it is grandparent’s house or whatever, I think these are a really fun way for them to take a piece of home and to take the pressure off whoever they are visiting to organise them a bed.

They are made from super soft cotton and envelope your child just like a traditional sleeping bag, so there is no loosing the cover over night, one thing that Roo seems to do all the time as his bedding is totally screwed up from spending the first 2-3 hours of bedtime pratting about and refusing to sleep!

As if that isn’t reason enough to get one, the boys have been using them pretty much constantly to build dens and have snuggles on the sofa instead of pulling out all the blankets while they get warm and indulge in their hot chocolates! They have been a god send this week because Toby has been so poorly and isn’t a happy boy at all so hardly moving from the sofa – hence the captures above!

I remember seeing them on Pinterest but couldn’t remember how they were sewen together. This is a brilliant idea for kids camping or over night anywhere.
