5 back to school back packs that you AND the kids will love!

I have put together my top 5 backpacks that both you and the kids are going to love for the dreaded back to school period (because everything has to be new right?!)

Skip*Hop zoo back packs for little people

I love Skip*Hop and these bags are the perfect back to school solution for a preschooler or early years student!

What I love:

These are so funky! Not only are they really bright and fun, but there are so many different animals to choose from that there really is something for every little one. For my kids I know that Roo would love the Hippo or Fox and Toby would be captivated by the dog. The back packs have a zipper pocket at the front and enough space in the pack to put some changes of clothes, or a pencil case and book.

Who will they suit:

These back packs are lovely and any child will think they are a fun, however these are probably best for preschoolers and early years kiddos who aren’t going to have lots of books, notepads and all the rest of it.

Beatrix New York back packs

This is one of my favourite from the Beatrix collection. I love the lion and I love the fact that this back to school bag is washable!

What I love:

These are super stylish and like a more grown up version of the skip*hop zoo range. The bags are all a simple neutral colour and then have a particular animal or print on the front. These are perfect for holding all those necessities that a young preschool or junior school child will need and are made from laminated nylon so ideal for keeping clean and wiping down.

Who will they suit:

These bags, not unlike the skip*hop ones are still quite small, so best suited to preschoolers or early years at junior school.

Zatchels stylish satchels

This really is the ultimate in back to school luxury and will last your child through most of their school years, if not all. Classic and so on trend.

What I love:

These are so stylish I want one for myself. They are designed to be a slightly smaller version (11.5 inches or 14.5 inches) of the adult version, but they are achingly on trend and beyond cool. What I really love is that Zatchel has got everyone covered with a multitude of super cool styles and basic block colours.

Who will they suit:

Secondary school children upwards I would say, and only ones who will take care of their possessions. These are not cheap bags, they are hover ultra durable and will see you through a few school years if taken care of… unless you steal them to take to work!

Personalised Kit bags from Pear Derbyshire

Top 5 back to school bags via Toby & Roo :: daily inspiration for stylish parents and their kids.

The perfect back for preschoolers or kit back for older kids, and because it’s personalised it isn’t going to be ‘borrowed’ by anyone!

What I love:

These  bags are great for nursery or preschool and taking changes of clothes etc. They are canvas, so washable and they are personalised so there won’t be any ‘mix ups’ over whose bag is whose!

Who will they suit:

I think these are a great option for all ages, firstly they are suitable for preschoolers and early years children as a proper bag, but as the kids get older these are the perfect bag for taking PE kit or any other required change of clothes kit bags. So everyone!

Baggu back pack

Baggu are a little bit on the super cool side. Not only are these backpacks ultra durable but they are also fun and practical.

What I love:

Well what isn’t to love? These back packs are designed for young adults and adults alike, they come in a range of different colours and have a tonne of helpful zippers and pockets on the inside to help you arrange your back better. What is even better, they are big enough to hold a 13″ laptop!

Who will they suit:

This is definitely something that older kids, at secondary school level will appreciate. They are too big for young children, but have everything an older child will need to see them throughout the year.

And that’s it! Do you have any bag recommendations, I’d love to know if you do!
