12 days of Blogmas :: Day 6 :: Cat from Pushing the Moon

12daysblogmas

Missed my last posts and curious as to what the hell blogmas is? I’ve explained it here on day 1.

Why this blogger?

Cat is my crafty, home and lifestyle blogger friend who never ceases to make me smile with her sarcastic tone. Cat’s blog (and Instagram) is my go to place for home and food inspiration and I hold her pretty much exclusively responsible for my sweet tooth and sudden obsession with Spotify.

Who is she?

My name is Catherine and I am a work from home mum, trying to juggle looking after two rather spirited children with my lovely husband, while trying to build my digital marketing business, and run a house at the same time – though, more often than not, running the house gets neglected (*stares at the pile of laundry in the corner of the room*).

I love all things to do with home style and cooking – in my dreams I am the Norfolk version of Martha Stewart (minus the criminal record!), but in reality I am probably more Kat Slater crossed with Ma Larkin (now there’s an image!).

We are lucky enough to live in North Norfolk, which is a beautiful part of the country, and love to explore our region looking for family friendly things to do.

In my spare time I like to drink wine, eat cheesecake, collect cookery books and start crafty projects that I never get round to finishing.

Which posts should you absolutely 100% check out? (my favourites!)

“Maybe I’ve just been unlucky with the groups I’ve been to but I felt like I was back in the school playground again, aged 12 or 13 and not being pretty enough, skinny enough or come from a rich enough family to be included in the many cliques that had already formed.

“Wednesday in our house is normally a slow cooker day – it’s the day where both kids are at home all day, and to be honest I would rather spend it with them than stand over the hob stirring away. This Brunswick stew is a winner in our house – the kids love it because it includes brightly coloured ingredients like sweetcorn…”

“Our house is currently under siege. It is being systematically destroyed by a two year old dictator who has the smile of an angel, a heart of gold for the most part, but more than anything right now, the attitude of the Tasmanian Devil.”

Please have a little click about on those posts and have a read of Cat’s beautiful blog.

Come back tomorrow for blogmas day 7!
