5 Pretty Spring Crafts that even I can do (which means you can too)

So I am not what anyone, ANYONE, would consider a crafter. Place a pot of paint and a piece of paper in front of me and I will create you a hot mess. Even my GCSE art teacher was left uninspired by my best offerings and I think she *knew* that I only took art because the drama teacher was a wanker and the history teacher couldn’t remember my name because I didn’t have a penis or play rugby, so to spite them all, I went with art.

So yeah, I’m not a crafter. My mum has taught me to knit but I can’t knit more than standard knit and I really can only make you a scarf… unless you want a tassel scarf in which case you’re reaching and overestimating me. Stop it.

That being said, the kids love a bit of crafting and I am one of those foolish parents that loves to indulge my offspring and buys them all manner of crafting hell (glitter – why? The herpes of the craft world.) and tries, oh so hard, to help them out with the crafts only to be told “Mummmyyyyyyy, you’re ruining it. GET OFF.”

So I have come up with some Spring crafts from pinterest (yes, I know, but stick with me) that even I can do. If I can do it, you can do it… I mean if I can do it Yoda the dog can do it so… yeah.

  1. Jewelled Heart Suncatcher

Erm, can we talk about how pretty this little spring craft is? You need glue, jewels, scissors and a milk carton. We can manage that right???

2. Flower Petal Candle Holders

Just LOOK at these beauties would you? You do need a flower press but once you’ve got one the rest is glue and a candle holder. No talents needed… I won’t even judge you if you tootle along to the shop instead of picking the flowers in the wild.

3. Framed Painted Pinecones

Well if this just isn’t the prettiest spring craft to use up all the pinecones you have left over from Autumn that you planned to craft with but never did, I don’t know what is.

4. Bubble paint hydrangeas

You need a straw, some paint and a couple of green leaves. C’mon, we can all cut out green leaves (or buy the felt ones/stickers from Boyes or Hobbycraft… NOT JUDGING)

5. Golf ball Ladybugs

Sure, Adam is going to be pissed when he realises he has no golf balls BUT COME ON, these spring craft bugs are cutttteeee af.

See? Every single one of these look really sweet AND they are totally doable. Totally.
